On Day 3 of our 12 Days of Giving, we invite you to Give Light: a simple but life-changing gift for children whose ability to learn is often interrupted by frequent power outages. In many of the communities we serve, students regularly find themselves studying in the dark after power outages caused by rainstorms or due to ongoing economic challenges that disrupt electricity. With your support, we provide candles, torches and lamps so that learning doesn’t have to stop when the lights go out. These small sources of light make it possible for children to complete their homework, prepare for exams, and keep moving forward in their education.
